We are looking for a talented and creative Character Artist to join our team. As a Character Artist, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and creating visually compelling characters for a variety of projects, including video games, animated films, and other digital media. You will collaborate closely with art directors, animators, and other team members to ensure that character designs are both visually appealing and technically feasible for production. Your work will involve creating high-quality 2D concept art as well as 3D models, textures, and materials. You should have a strong understanding of anatomy, form, color theory, and character design principles. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through character design, has a keen eye for detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and to continually improve your skills and techniques. Experience with industry-standard software such as Maya, ZBrush, Blender, Photoshop, and Substance Painter is highly desirable. A strong portfolio showcasing your character art skills is required.
